Welcome to The Meadow.
For grown-ups who know the systems we swim in are unjust and unsustainable and are ready to shape something different.
It’s a shared space for building care, critical thinking, and agency with kids in ways that feel honest, age-appropriate, and doable.
A space for grown-ups who refuse to bury their heads in the sand. Together, we support kids to notice, care, and act in ways that are age-appropriate, meaningful, and grounded in the real world.
Help kids to fall in love with our bloody beautiful world. Let everyday moments spark curiosity, wonder and awe.
Support kids to feel part of the web of life. Explore the connections between themselves, others, and the natural world.
Help kids discover that thoughtful action, no matter how small, shapes a better world.
Small, curious and unstoppable, Seedlings notice the natural world and take their first real steps toward caring for it.

Former Student
"Megan has inspired me to always speak up. She has taught me countless lessons in life, whether it is about nature or just to question everything."
Parent
"Megan created a safe, inspiring space where children like my daughter learned that their voices matter and that small actions can spark big changes."
Former Student
"Before joining Megan's program, I was oblivious to the impact young people could have. She taught us not only to use our voices, but to make them listen. I continue to speak up against injustice because of Megan."
🌏 You're worried about the world kids are inheriting and are unsure how to help them navigate big issues without overwhelming them
🌏 You care deeply but you’re stretched thin and don't have the time to research and plan activities
🌏 You want to connect with others who get it and who are committed to supporting kids in caring for people and planet
Each pack will have a different theme that you can deep dive with the kids in your life. It will include:
An activity book with 6+ activities for you to complete with kids
A scavenger hunt or challenge
A discussion card to collect that will prompt critical thinking
A mindful exercise card to collect that will help kids connect to their bodies, hearts and minds
A foldable mini zine that connects to the theme
A lesson plan to do with your class or a group of kids
Posters that you can put up in your classroom or hang on the fridge to prompt critical thinking
A fun quiz that connects to the theme
An Acknowledgement of Country card that you can fill out to remind you of whose Country you are on
The best thing about these packs is that all the resources can be used again and again. In fact, the more you use them, the more impact they will have.
New packs will be released on the 1st day of January, March, May, July, September and November. You will also receive bonus gifts every month.
If you are signed up for a monthly plan, you can cancel at any time.
If you are signed up for a yearly plan, you can cancel once the year is up.
You absolutely can! The platform I'm using doesn't include this feature automatically, so we will have to make this happen the good-old-human way. After you purchase a subscription, you can email hello@megandthewildflowers.com.au, and I will sort everything out for you. I'll also send you a printable gift certificate.
Yes. You can. But, there will be elements of the pack that will be specific to Australia. You are welcome to adapt them.
However, if you email me at hello@megandthewildflowers and let me know where you’re based and that you’re interested in signing up, I’ll create Northern Hemisphere packs if enough people get in touch.
Some of these activities will require you to print them off.
I don't have a printer either! I get my printing done at the local library or Officeworks.
You can sign up for the plan that you think your child is ready for. If you receive the first pack and feel like it's too easy or too hard, I can always swap you over to a different pack.

Yes indeedy there is! Email me at hello@megandthewildflowers.com.au once you've subscribed to one of the streams (Seedlings, Pollinators or Mycelium) and I'll send you a unique discount code to use for your second subscription.
Apologies that it is a bit fiddly. The platform I'm using doesn't yet have the option to do this automatically. But the upside is that it'll give me a chance to thank you for being an amazing human being and supporting my small business.
Absolutely! Email me at hello@megandthewildflowers.com.au to learn more.
If you are asking this question, then this is definitely not the place for you.
The Meadow is for grown-ups who:
Are for the collective liberation of all people.
Who understand that none of us is free until all of us are free.
Who know that everything is political in colonial, capitalist, patriarchal, white supremacist, and ableist systems.
Who understand that our kids are suffering in these systems now and are going to be deeply impacted by them in the coming decades.
Excellent! I love questions. Please send them my way via hello@megandthewildflowers.com.au.

I’m a social and environmental justice educator.
I've helped hundreds of primary-aged kids grow care, courage, and agency over the last 11+ years.
Through Meg & the Wildflowers, I give families and educators the practical tools to support kids to shape a better world.
I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which this work is created and shared, the people of the Kulin Nation. I pay my respects to Elders past and present. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have cared for Country for tens of thousands of years. Their knowledge, stewardship, and resistance continue despite ongoing dispossession and violence. Sovereignty has never been ceded. This always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
